Handmade Felt Creations

Felt Quiet Book

It’s always exciting to craft with felt. Felt comes in an array of materials, colors and designs which provides endless inspiration for my beautiful creations.
Like this felt quiet book I made for my nephew.

This is handmade with love and has many wonderful pages inside for endless hours of fun. Long post alert with numerous images guys! Hope you will appreciate my efforts.

The front cover features the baby’s nick name and his favorite animal the elephant with a few pom-pom and feather embellishments on the spine.

The first page is a greeting page that will help him learn and spell out his name. The alphabets go inside the truck when not being used.

Next is an Owl Puzzle page. The puzzle pieces secure to the page with velcro snaps and go inside the pocket for safekeeping.

These are dinosaur world pages! They feature a dinosaur cave with eggs hatching to reveal two baby dinosaurs, a volcano mountain, trees, waterfall and rocks. The dinosaurs are also finger puppets which can be used for story time as well.

This is a Mr./Mrs. Potato dress up game. It has many facial features and accessories for interesting and fun dress up ideas. All the accessories can be safely tucked inside the potato sack.

Next is a Go Fish game page. It has colorful sea creatures and a fishing rod with a magnet at one end to catch them!

The paintbrush palette features a matching game of colors and shapes.

It’s very amusing to move the monster eyes around in this super fun Monster Eye Maze game.

The Solar System page has removable planets for an easy matching game and a spaceship with a little astronaut who goes on a space exploration.

The Penguin Puzzle page has velcro snaps for easy attachment and a pocket for safe keeping the puzzle pieces.

The book ends with lots of love from me!

I painted my website logo on the back cover. This quiet book ensures innumerable hours of enjoyment and playtime. Simulates hand eye co-ordination and imaginative skills. It also encourages pretend play.

It took me six weeks to plan, stencil, cut, sew and put everything together. The fabulous end result is worth all the efforts I put into this lovely felt quiet book.
