We started celebrating Halloween when we stayed in USA and have been since then. I love designing costumes for Miss S and Halloween is that wonderful time of the year when I can go crazy with my ideas.
Miss S wanted to be Minnie Mouse for her first holiday and I was elated to say the least!
I had a forethought for making a tutu costume and a Minnie Mouse tutu seemed like an ideal start.
This tutu dress has a crochet top and layers and layers of pink tulle for the flawless fluffy look.
My little girl never tires of all the fittings I demand while designing her costumes. Here she is happily posing for me on one of our fitting sessions!
And here is Miss S in her final look, ready to go trick or treating in the neighborhood.
To complete the look, I made a Minnie ears headband and a matching bag to collect Halloween goodies.
The headband is made of felt and tulle with ribbon and pearl accents, very light weight and charming.
The trick or treat bag is made of felt. It has an adorable Minnie accent on one side and a large bow made of tulle on the other. A darling little bag to store all her goodies!
This customized costume is perfect to play dress up with and is super comfortable. I know because my little girl would wear it every chance she got. And that is the best compliment I could receive!
