This is my first blog post and after giving this a lot of thought, (probably an insane amount more than I should actually have) I have decided it to be about the Princess Anna costume I made for Miss S for her Disney World vacation on her 7th birthday.
Disney World has this amazing boutique for little girls, the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique wherein little girls get to have princess makeovers. It seemed like a perfect experience for Miss S to have on her special day and after booking an appointment, I had to think about the perfect princess costume for her.
Now Miss S is in love with Anna and she loves the coronation costume more than anything . And so the planning and execution started for the customized Anna costume. Finding the fabric was easy. And after a week of hard work, the panel skirt in two colors and the top with pleated sleeves were done! Some free hand fabric painting on the top and the front panel of the skirt was all that was required to bring this dress to perfection.
Getting styled and pampered at the boutique was an exquisite experience and she couldn’t be more happy!
Miss S had a lovely time posing and playing in her favorite princess costume. The most special part of her day was when she met Anna and got her autograph.
That precious smile was worth all the efforts I put into making her dream princess dress.
